DESCRIPTION:
African Lodge is one minute from the N1 in a peacefull area directly opposite the University of the Free State and Universitas Hospital. In the same street as the Waterfront Mall with various upmarket restaurants, Grey College, Eunice Girls, Vodacom Park and the Central Univesity of Technology. We are in the heart of Bloemfontein's Sport and Business Centre.
We also offer family and self-catering units all with climate control and DStv. We are five minutes for Mimosa Mall and Medi Clinic. Ample, very secure and free parking is available at the Lodge. All major Government departments are within 1.2 kms. The Windmill Casino is about 8km from the lodge. Large groups are welcome and conferences can be arranged.
Accommodation
African Lodge has spacious and beautiful decorated luxury rooms in a secure location, allowing the experience of a small piece of African hospitality. All our en-suite bath / shower rooms have tea and coffee units, air-conditioning (both heating and cooling) and a DSTV bouquet.
We have 100% cotton bedding with a warm welcoming and luxurious style. Our linen includes feather down duvets as well as the non allergic options and sterilised bedding. An electrical fencing and gate system helps to ensure the safety of all our guests.
We offer a choice of double and twin beds as well as family rooms for the bigger family. We have five self catering units. There is also a flatlet (sleeps two guests only) which is a private, fully self-catering unit by the pool. The lodge can accommodate up to 37 guests and large groups are also welcome.
Dining
English and Continental breakfasts are served. A selection of muesli, fruit, yoghurts and cereals Organic breakfast freshly baked bread rolls and muffins with jams, meat slices and a variety of cheeses. Dinner and breakfast to be booked in advance.
