A Summer Place Boutique Guest House, offers accommodation for the discerning guest, and is centrally located in Bloemfontein.

Accommodation

The Boutique Guest House consists of nine very spacious and luxurious, individually decorated en-suite bedrooms (rooms average 22 sqm). Bedrooms have private entrances and French doors lead onto the garden. The bathrooms are very spacious and have showers and or baths.

Rooms are decorated in a French-Provincial Style, reiterating a sense of summer throughout the guest house. Plasma Screen televisions are installed in all the rooms and guests can choose between channels from the SABC and or the DStv bouquet. Rooms are equipped with tea and coffee facilities and bar fridges.

Guests will experience total comfort and a good night’s rest, sleeping on Cloud 9 mattresses, with our 100% cotton bed sheets and angora blankets. We offer a choice of duck down and / or synthetic pillows. All our beds and pillows are protected by hygienic linen protectors, which give peace of mind to our discerning guests.

During the winter months our beds are made up with winter bed linen and electric blankets, ensuring that your visit to Bloemfontein in the winter will be warm and cosy. Guests can relax, watch television, listen to music or socialize, in any of the three entertainment areas. The swimming pool is an ideal place to relax during the warm summer months, enjoying a cool drink. Our well maintained garden offers a peaceful retreat for the weary traveler or businessman. We have wine wagons available to our guests and they can be booked on arrival.

A guest’s privacy is extremely important to us and we make it our highest priority.

Breakfast and Dining

Our unforgettable meals are prepared on order and our chef only uses fresh, organic ingredients where possible. We serve only the best quality and famous brands of cheese and milk products as well as teas and coffees. All our meals are served at elegant and beautifully laden tables and room service is also available. We serve three different types of breakfasts:

English Breakfast
This traditional breakfast is served in crystal and silver.

Continental Breakfast
This breakfast is served in The Blue Room and is very popular as it is not a very heavy breakfast.

Organic Bar Breakfast
All the ingredients are organic and includes muesli and fresh juice.

Dinners must please be booked in advance, when booking your accommodation.

Security and Parking

The overall safety of our guests, as well as the security of their belongings are also extremely important to us. We offer secure parking and the guest house has burglar proofing, security gates etc. We do not accept any guests off the street, without a prior booking.

The veranda outside, is a designated smoking area. The owners who manage the guest house, live on the premises and have a passion for hospitality.
