Bayswater Lodge is a well established 4 star guesthouse situated in a northern residential suburb of Bloemfontein. It is the ideal resting place for corporates, tourists, weekenders or for a long term stay. It is very central with easy access from all main routes, airport and the city centre.
A friendly welcome by the owners awaits you when you arrive at Bayswater Lodge. The guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful garden with huge trees and the lush lawn creates an ambiance of space and tranquility. For the safety of our guests, the property is secured with an electric fence, controlled access and CCTV. In the beautiful courtyard with swimming pool, lapa and bar, you can sit back and relax after a days work or a long trip.

Bed & Breakfast Rooms
Bayswater Lodge has 12 stylishly furnished en-suite bedrooms with white percale linen, a desk with reading lamp, safe, air-conditioning, television with M-net and selected DSTV channels, tea / coffee facility and wi-fi internet. Some of the rooms have their own entrance from the garden or balcony.
Self Catering Unit
We also have one family unit with own kitchenette. This unit can also be incorporated with the adjacent room for a complete two bedroom family unit, each with its own bathroom and own entrance from the garden.
Bar / Pool room
The rustic bar is the perfect venue for a get together where old friends can meet or the lonely traveler can engage in a conversation with other guests or with your friendly host. On winter evenings the fire is lit and contributes to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The lapa / bar is ideal for small functions.
breakfast and dining
From Monday to Friday our breakfast consists of a fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, fruit juice, five cereals, filter coffee / tea, toast and a full English breakfast. On weekends we serve a light breakfast which is free of charge. It includes all the above except the English breakfast.
Although close to good restaurants, a home cooked dinner is available to our regular and long term guests and must be pre-arranged.
Braai / Barbeque
Guests are welcome to make their own braai at the lapa and must be pre-arranged with management. We can also do a braai for you (minimum 10 people).
