DESCRIPTION:
Brookeside Self-Catering, also with magnificent views, comprises two luxurious and fully equipped one bed roomed self-catering cottages sleeping two per cottage. These self-contained units are modern and tastefully decorated, providing an ideal option for those who prefer the flexibility of self-catering accommodation. The village shops, restaurants and coffee-shops are only a few minutes’ walk from either of the Brookeside properties.
Self Catering Accommodation
The two cottages are named after our grandchildren, Jade and Jody. Set in a beautifully landscaped garden, (still growing) both luxury cottages comprise a bedroom with bath and separate shower en suite, separate lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, private patio and Weber braai. The units are spacious, chic and extremely comfortable.
Jade’s cottage has a queen bed and Jody’s cottage has extra length twin beds which can be converted into a King bed.
All rooms are equipped with:
• Full kitchen facilities, including fridge, stove, microwave, crockery and cutlery
• DStv – flat screen TV
• Hairdryers
• Towels and linen
• Ceiling fans and fireplaces
• The bathroom has underfloor heating
Undercover parking is available for one car per cottage and the laundry is open to guests. The cottages are serviced daily between 10h00 and 12h00 on request only.
Clarens
Clarens is a tranquil escape nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by Sandstone cliffs, the Rooiberge and Maluti Mountains. Clarens is 16.9 km from Golden Gate National Park and is a highlight on the Maloti Route in the Eastern Free State of South Africa.
A lovely day can be spent browsing the art galleries, Bibliophile bookstore and country shops or take the half day hiking trail (close by) that has vast views of Clarens and Lesotho. Rent bicycles, go quad-biking or fly fishing. |
