DESCRIPTION:
Langkuil is a Guesthouse on an operating maize and cattle farm.
Accommodation
Accommodation is a flat next to the swimming pool and this consists of a sleeping room with double bed, sitting room with coffee, tea, snacks, television, sitting facilities, bathroom and toilet.
Braai facilities are also available at the flat with a built-in braai. Braai packs are available with prearrangement for evenings.
The other room is a little cottage with two single beds and no bathroom. This must be used in conjunction with the flat. This cottage is ideal for children or accommodating friends. Both units look out over the covered swimming pool.
Facilities
At this stage a minibar is not available, but if guests need of anything that we may use regularly in our house it will be available to them, for example chocolates, wine, shampoo, toothbrush or – paste, etc. We have a little kiosk for buying products that may have been forgotten or lost.
Clean towels available for use by guests. Daily cleaning of the room is included. Babysitting facilities can be arranged if the need occurs, at an additional cost. Due to the fact that I have two babies of my own all baby utilities are available, please feel free to ask (things like a cot, bath, pram etc. can be used).
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in a private dining room in the main house. Four difference breakfast menus are available to choose from. Guest will be able to choose their favourite menu upon arrival. Menus consist mainly of cereals, fruit in season, eggs, bread and something meaty prepared in different ways.
Activities
It is a relative safe environment and guests can go for long walks. Fishing is also available on the premises during the raining season. There is a big dam nearby (about 5 km) where guests can go fishing. Koppies Dam Nature Reserve is just outside of town. Game drives are available and great fishing can be done at this dam.
Safe parking in a cover up garage is available for guests vehicle/s. We have a motto saying: ‘arrive as guests and leave as friends’. We will do everything possible to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible. Our main aim at our guest farm is to accommodate our guests in a clean neat and safe environment. We want them to enjoy their stay. Every visit can be customised to the guests’ needs. They must only arrange it before arriving so that we can discuss their needs.
Everything one expects from a guesthouse will be available except for the mini-bar. Clean sheets, clean towels, clean room, clean bath room with hot water and breakfast ordered from menu, prepared in clean kitchen and everything asked for in advance. |
