The Clarens Golf Estate is home to a modern villa, tastefully decorated called Vista 70@Clarens. This holiday home has been designed for a restful, comfortable getaway, with every convenience and luxury. Situated on the mountain side of Mount Horeb, it has views overlooking the surrounding mountains, golf course, and the town of Clarens.

Self Catering ACCOMMODATION

Vista 70@Clarens is a comfortable self catering holiday home all the essential elements for a comfortable stay for four people. There are two bedrooms, fitted with wall-to-wall carpeting and both have en-suite bathooms with separate bath and shower. The first bedroom is a double room with TV and ample built in cupboard space for a longer stay if required. It has views of the Golf Estate and looks over the valley into Clarens. The second bedroom has twin beds, with views north of Mt Horeb; there is also plenty of cupboard space. Both bedrooms have dressing tables and all linen and towels are provided.

The living area of the house is especially welcoming and pleasing to the eye. From the front door, one enters a spacious lounge, complete with luxurious furnishings and a built-in gas heated fire place. A flat screen TV, with satellite DStv is provided for your entertainment. Also in the living space, there is a dining room with table and chairs. The living area is warmed in winter with under-floor heating throughout.

A modern well equipped self catering kitchen with granite counter tops, lies adjacent to the lounge and dining area. It is fitted with hob and under-counter oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, tumble drier and other appliances. Complimentary tea, coffee, rooibos, sugar and creamer are also provided

Leading out from both the dining room and lounge, there are two sets of patio sliding doors which open onto the raised patio complete with patio furniture, table and chairs for al fresco dining and relaxation. The patio has views through shaded blue gums towards the town of Clarens, over the golf estate. A gas braai built-in on the patio is a given for outside entertainment.

The house is set below the road, with parking for two vehicles on the paved parking area and the grass verge above to the house. A set of stairs lead guests to the front door.

GOLF

Recently, the original 9-hole golf course has been developed and upgraded to an 18-hole course by developers, Pinnacle Point. The par 72 golf course, has been designed and constructed by Golf Data. All 18 holes meander along and across the tranquil river and its splendid series of dams. The new Club House is well appointed and offers wonderful mountain views.

ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND CLARENS

Visitors to Clarens have a variety of activities to choose from and they include, white water rafting, horse riding, quad biking, hiking, tennis, squash, trout fishing, art courses, golf, abseiling, mountain trails and nature reserves which also have some bushman paintings. Enquiries for all these activities can be made at the local information centres in Clarens.
